A new update is on the horizon, featuring a new Battle Pass and new iconic characters,  improvements to the competitive PvP mode and leaderboard system, character balancing, and more! Keep reading for all the latest details and changes coming in Update 2.7.

NEW BATTLE PASS

Survival of the Chillest

  • The new Battle Pass will begin on August 14 at 15:00 UTC.

NEW CHARACTERS

Coming in August:

  • Killer Frost: 4 Stars, Blue, Amplifier, Part of the Suicide Squad Family
  • Green Arrow: 5 Stars, Green, Disruptor, Part of the Justice League Family

Coming in September:

  • Darkness awakens at the Blackest Night – malevolent beings are about to emerge.

NEW CHARACTER BALANCING UPDATES

  • Catwoman
    • Increased HP, Defense, and Attack stats by 10%
  • Deadshot
    • Increased HP and Defense stats by 5%
  • Enchantress
    • Increased Critical Damage by 30%
  • Harley Quinn
    • Increased HP stat by 10%
    • Increased Dodge Chance by 5%
    • Increased Critical Damage by 50%
    • Each Passive upgrade now grant +1 turn to Lethargy, Accuracy Down and Attack Down debuffs
  • Huntress
    • Increased HP, Defense, and Attack stats by 10%
  • Killer Croc
    • Increased HP stat by 10%
    • Increased Critical Damage by 50%
  • King Shark
    • Increased Attack stat by 5%
    • Increased Critical Damage by 40%
    • Passive upgrades now grant increased chance to trigger on Critical Hit, up to 100%
  • Riddler
    • Passive upgrade chance decreased from [40%/45%/50%/55%/60%] to [20%/30%/40%/50%/60%]
    • Power Move Power Gauge reduction is decreased from 10%-20% to 5%-10%

IMPROVEMENTS

Competitive PvP

  • PvP Matchmaking 
    • We updated the opponent list in PvP matchmaking. The list will always include an opponent with a lower power rating than the player (attacker). This opponent will be displayed at the bottom of the list in the “Select Opponent’s Team” screen. This change ensures that players can continue playing and earning experience points, even if other opponents in their range are too strong.
  • PvP Modifiers
    • To further enrich the PvP experience, we are introducing a set of rotating modifiers that will affect both offense and defense teams. These modifiers are designed to add a new layer of strategy and excitement to each match.

Modifiers:

+50% ATK: Increases the base attack stat of characters by 50%.

+30% Speed: Decreases the speed number by 30%, making characters faster. 

  • Note: A smaller number indicates faster speed.

-50% HP: Reduces the base health points of characters by 50%.

+50% Crit Damage: Increases the base critical hit damage by 50%.

+50% Crit Rate: Increases the base critical hit rate by 50%. 

  • Note: This is applied to the base stat. For example, if a character has 0% crit rate, 50% of 0% is still 0%.

PvP Leaderboard System

  • Seasonal Leaderboards
    • A new leaderboard will be introduced every season, refreshing every 28 days to coincide with the Battle Pass cycle.
  • Player Enrollment
    • Players will join the appropriate leaderboard upon their first login at the start of a new season, ensuring they are placed in a valid and current leaderboard.
  • Active Player Focus
    • Only active players will be included in these leaderboards, ensuring a competitive and relevant ranking system.

Guild Leaderboard System

The existing leaderboard displays only the positions and performances of players within the same guild.

  • Global Leaderboard: The new Global Leaderboard will display the rankings of guilds worldwide, allowing players to see how their guild compares to others and strive to be the best!
  • Detailed Metrics: The leaderboard will show the boss tier your guild has reached and the total damage dealt by your guild on the last tier unlocked.
  • Regular Resets: The leaderboards will reset every 7 days, coinciding with the raid change, ensuring that the competition remains fresh and dynamic.

MAJOR BUG FIXES

  • Abilities
    • Resurrection no longer causes enemies in Assault to stop attacking
  • Battle
    • Enemies with equipment will no longer sometimes show 0 hp after the equipment is destroyed
    • Fixed an issue that caused some battle puppets to linger after the enemy had been defeated
    • Fixed an issue that caused Beast Boy to trigger his power move out of visual order when using a group power move
    • Fixed an issue related to a recommended character being a guest
    • Fixed an issue where character portraits were sometimes misaligned in the group power move animation
  • Challenges
    • Close, flee, and fight buttons of the pause menu are now working as intended in challenge missions
  • Characters
    • Manhunter
      • Defeating the last enemy on a wave with Manhunter’s counterattack no longer stops the next enemy wave from spawning
      • Fixed an issue where going into battle twice with Manhunter can cause an infinite loading
      • Added missing VFX on his power move
      • Fixed an issue where Manhunter’s counterattack passive only strikes the last attacker
      • Manhunter’s base stats have been adjusted to match the intentions
  • Choice Missions
    • Enemy power rating now increases as the player does more choice missions
    • Fixed an issue where the Choice Mission icon could be blank after coming back from the pre-battle screen
  • Events
    • Pre-battle is no longer blocked if the user views a Gauntlet event, and edits the team to not meet the criteria
  • GamerID
    • Added support to use Japanese and Korean characters in gamer ID
  • Gacha
    • Fixed the issue where Starro is appearing on the capsule key during the gacha unlock animation
  • Guild
    • The virtual keyboard no longer overlaps the text box for messages in the guild chat
    • The timer for when the guild chest will be ready is no longer showing a placeholder string between raids
    • The Android back button now works with the raid log
    • Fixed an issue where the chat button would be unresponsive on new raid start
    • Removed the extra tier 11
    • Fixed an issue where the character tooltip wouldn’t close if a raid battle ends while it’s open
  • Locator
    • Going to an event from the locator and going back to the character roster no longer causes the UI to disappear
    • Improvements to flow when crafting many items or complex items with many materials
  • Quests
    • Notifications now appear when Milestones can be collected
