Hello Heroes and Villains!

A new update is planned to be released in the coming days, introducing The Green Lantern Corps, a new Battle Pass season, several character balancing changes, improvements, and much more. Keep reading to learn more about everything new in update 2.3!

Characters:

New Battle Pass Season: Imposter Syndrome

    • The new Battle Pass season will be live on March 27th, bringing you new challenges, characters, and exclusive rewards! 
  • The Battle Pass will now be starting at 15:00 UTC

Group Bonuses:

Introducing our second wave of Unique Group Bonuses for existing teams! This is part of our continued effort to reward players for collecting the groups and characters they love. Coupled with this change is our first adjustment to the Power Rating system. This update focuses on the Power Ratings of individual characters, but we hope you’ll look forward to future updates where we will update missions’ and enemy team Power Ratings as well.

New Group Bonuses:

  • Arkham’s Most Wanted: Poison Ivy, The Riddler, Penguin, The Joker, Firefly, Scarecrow, Bane, Harley Quinn
    • 2 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, 20% chances to extend all debuffs on all enemies by 1 turn.
    • 3 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, 25% chances to extend all debuffs on all enemies by 1 turn.
    • 4 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, 33% chances to extend all debuffs on all enemies by 1 turn.
  • Secret Society of Super Villains: Ultra-Humanite, Copperhead, Vandal Savage, Livewire, Cheshire
    • 2 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, 33% chance to remove 1 random debuff from self.
    • 3 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, 67% chance to remove 1 random debuff from self.
    • 4 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, remove 1 random debuff from self.
  • Teen Titans: Robin, Raven, Blue Beetle, Beast Boy, Starfire
    • 2 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, 25% chance another member performs an Assist Attack on the same target.
    • 3 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, 33% chance another member performs an Assist Attack on the same target.
    • 4 members: When a Group member performs a Power Move, 50% chance another member performs an Assist Attack on the same target.
  • The Outsiders: Katana, Black Lightning, Halo
    • 2 members: Group members have +10% Attack while protected by a Barrier.
    • 3 members: Group members have +20% Attack while protected by a Barrier.
  • Amazons: Nubia, Artemis Grace, Archer, Warrior, Shield Bearer
    • 2 members: Each time they block a Power Move, 25% chance to gain Haste buff on self for 2 turns.
    • 3 members: Each time they block a Power Move, 33% chance to gain Haste buff on self for 2 turns.
    • 4 members: Each time they block a Power Move, 50% chance to gain Haste buff on self for 2 turns.

Buffed:

  • Superman
    • Increased Passive Immunity duration from 8-24% to 10-30%
  • The Flash
    • Increased Dodge Rate from 25% to 30%
  • Aquaman
    • Increased Passive Anti-Buff duration from 3 turns to 4 turns
    • Passive Upgrades now grant increased Anti-Buff duration (max 8 turn)
    • Increased Max chance to inflict Anti-Buff from 40% to 60%

Bug Fix

  • Corrected an issue where Artemis Grace was gaining more defense than intended from each gear item.

Other:

  • The Power Rating system has been adjusted to better reflect the value of characters. 
    • Sentinel and High HP character should have a lower Power Rating
    • Offensive characters should have a slightly higher Power Rating
    • Passive Upgrades are valued more towards Power Rating
    • Power Move Upgrades are valued less towards Power Rating
    • This does not change character stats / gameplay

  • Eggs are up for grabs in events, offers, quests, and even in a daily calendar! Keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to gather those eggs!
  • Exchange your collected eggs for fun rewards! The more eggs you collect, the more rewards you will get!

Features:

  • Crafting Menu Improvements:
      • Now highlight the lowest child in the hierarchy lacking items, ensuring better visibility.
      • Display total resource requirement for the entire system, not just for crafting a single item.
  • Autowin Enhancements
      • Visual Improvements:
        • Autowin popup now has better contrast with the background.
        • Slider buttons have been enlarged for easier manipulation.
      • Rewards Enhancement:
        • Rewards are now bigger for better visibility.
        • Rewards area can now show up to 12 different rewards with scrollable functionality.
  • Locator Updates:
  • Gear:
        • Proper display of collected Gear items at the top of the locator with total count.
        • All gears are now shown in their gear container to indicate rarity.
        • Auto-win option displayed if applicable, removing the Battle button when not needed.
  • Generic Item:
      • Generic items (metatopes, coins, etc.) no longer have a “needed by” section as they are universally needed.
    • Autowin:
      • Locator popup moved down to keep item and quantity visible on the upper screen.
      • Visual update to the locator to distinguish it from other elements (gray).
      • Scroll buttons increased in size for improved navigation.
      • Clearly defined name of the sector/mission in autowin popup.
  • Rewarded Video – Store placement
  • Now, alongside claiming your Daily Free Gems in the store, you have the option to further boost your rewards by watching a brief ad.

Improvements:

  • Character Power Rating – We rebalanced the formula to be more representative of the character’s Power. Before, HP would play a bigger role in the formula to set the character’s Power Rating. Characters of the Sentinel roles always had more Power Ratings than other characters. With this new adjustment, Sentinels will now have a lower Power Rating while the others will be slightly increased.

The Power Rating formula helps display the number of the Power of each character. In this case, we’ve only adjusted the numbers, and there were no specific damage modifications to characters with this change.

  • New Toaster notification changes
  • Replaced red dots for new characters with “New” tag
  • Claim Past Battle pass tiers all at the same time
  • Remove Ranked Assault currency on defeat 
  • Have a daily quest to complete a Gauntlet when it is available

Major bug fixes:

  • Battle
      • Fixed an issue where enemy attacks could be displayed as ‘weak’ regardless of the color matchup
  • Characters
      • Fixed the group bonus of Green Lantern Corps activating when on the enemy side
      • Fixed an issue that caused Supergirls passive heal to not work properly for Superman and Superboy
      • Harley Quinn Mad Love and Ultra Humanite can no longer transfer Poison Ivy’s Raidboss debuff back to her
      • King Shark’s healing now properly applies based on damage, not King Shark’s maximum health
  • Event hub
      • Fixed an overlap of visual elements in the events menu
  • Locator
      • Fixed an issue where the wrong item could be highlighted
      • Fixed an issue caused sometimes by switching between different crafting recipes
  • Main hub
      • Visual state of locked or disabled features will no longer first appear unlocked until clicked upon
  • Marketplace
      • Fixed an issue where sometimes the Mystery box was not present
  • General
      • Fixed an issue that sometimes prevents the app from starting correctly when encountering issues initializing our ads
      • Various stability improvements and minor bug fixes 
  • Guilds
      • Fixed and issue that prevented guilds made with invalid guild names from being edited or renamed
  • PVP Ranked
      • Fixed a visual issue in the Defense log when opening it more than once
      • Fixed a visual overlap that could happen after editing team in PVP view
  • Reward Popup
      • Fixed a visual issue where extra vertical bars could be seen in the rewards popup
  • Roster
    • Fixed an issue where the screen could become unresponsive while trying to train characters while certain resources were missing
