Hello Heroes and Villains, as Season 1 wraps up on January 31st, our team will be scheduling mandatory maintenance for the PVP mode in preparation for Season 2 – this will only affect Assault and Ranked Assault game modes. The maintenance is set to commence on January 31st at around 8 am ET and will last approximately 24 hours.
During this maintenance period, the ranked leaderboards will reset for Season 2. Ranks at the beginning of the new Season will be determined based on where players finished in the Season prior. Rank brackets will be expanded from 10 to 20 to provide a more balanced PvP experience and ensure a smoother progression for players to reach better rewards faster. In addition, matchmaking improvements are made to ensure you are competing against opponents within your skill range.
